Swan Samba will be playing at the Eastleigh Mela Festival again this year.
This FREE fantastic family day out with a cultural twist is a firm fixture in Eastleigh’s calendar. Expect an extravaganza of dancing, colours & music, children’s activities, demonstrations, stalls, food from around the world and much, much more.
Highlights include a Climbing Wall, Circus skills, Street Food stalls and Cookery Demos.
The main stage will feature a constant programme of live music and dance by both local and national performers.
“Mela” is the Sanskrit word meaning ‘meeting‘, ‘fair‘ or ‘gathering‘ and ‘celebrations‘ of all kinds.
Hampshire based Swan Samba are a drumming, dancing and Brazilian arts organisation open to ages 11+ and all abilities.
Swan Samba will be performing at 11:15am and again at 2pm.
